Sometimes, a person is born knowing what they want to be. Who they want to be. Most of us aren't that lucky. My name is Kasey Jones. I am a photographer, and I am lucky. This is what I want.

 

Photography and I, we are accidental lovers. As a young aspiring artist, my eye was drawn to architecture- my original passion and "what I wanted to be when I grew up." But when I reached college and ended up in the art program, as a surrogate program until I moved on to a different school, I found I couldn't give it up. Every person was amazing and awkward and passionate, and we all wanted to make the world more beautiful.

 

A Seattle-born oddball, I grew up and went to college in the midwest (good ol' Wisconsin) and currently reside in Brooklyn, NY. You can find me adventuring in the woods (or trying to find them in and around Manhattan), taking photos, and drinking or making delicious coffee. I am one-of-a-kind. So are my photos.
